Another holiday means another cookout for my shop. We cookout with regularity and don't really need a reason to do so. But today, we were celebrating the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
We decided to try something different today by setting up the tables in the center bay on the truck side of the shop.
Not only is it a little brighter in this spot, there is much more available room for all of the tables.
Melanie and James took a break from setting up to pose for a couple of pics.
Melanie and James.
In place of the usual burgers, hot dogs, and seasoned flat iron steaks, traditional Thanksgiving fare was on the menu for today.
Paul got to work preparing the turkey.
Other goodies included ham, green beans, potato salad, stuffing, and pigs-in-a-blanket.
The other table held the drinks and desserts.
As the lunch hour arrived, people began to arrive and get settled.
Paul welcomed everyone and said a few words before the feast began.
Paul then pitched to Phil who kept things short and simple. He gave everyone a thumbs up and says "Good Job." Done, speech over.
This gave Felicia the opportunity to say a few words of thanks as well.
Felicia's comments were basically a few words of thanks interspersed with some laughter.
Paul offered a few more opening remarks.
Then it was time to eat. Paul said the blessing in preparation for our feast.
Time to eat !
Grab and growl !
Enjoying a good Thanksgiving feast.
Lisa saw me taking a picture in her general direction.
Melanie immediately seized the opportunity for some shenanigans.
Very well done, Melanie !
For some reason, my camera decided to focus on the bottle of barbeque sauce instead of Phil's sinister facial expression, which is too bad.
