I ride my bicycle to work whenever Mother Nature cooperates. In most cases, she allows me to get to and from work without getting too wet. Any weather scheduled to arrive usually does so while I'm at work. Such was the case today.
Pleasant, although hot conditions were forecast for today with the possibility of a thunderstorm scattered throughout.
During this particular moment of pleasantness, I tried once again to see how well the new camera does with clouds.
The clouds looked great today.
The dark bit seen in the photo above, however, was a precursor for what was to come.
But for now, I was enjoying the awesome clouds in the sky.

Dark clouds started to make inroads.
Soon, the patches of blue disappeared.
Something was approaching.
I could still see a few blue spots off to the east for now.

A cool cloud formation to the east.
I'm not sure if it looks like anything in particular.
It just looked pretty cool. And the camera did a great job with focusing.
I liked the cloud in the background directly behind the tree.
The anticipated bad weather arrived not long after the above photo was taken. According to the radar, a storm blew up right over Athens and stayed there for a while. We experienced about 20 minutes of sideways rain and wind.
The sideways rain fell for about 20 minutes. Light rain hung around for an additional hour or so. Once the rain moved on, the sun came out and lit up the clouds again.
I took this opportunity to play with the new camera some more.
This particular cloud formation looked interesting.
I think it looks like a small dog.
I see a head and ears to the right.
Playing with the camera and with the processing afterward gives each photo a slightly different look as far as colors are concerned.
The light reflecting courtesy of the setting sun made for some great pics.

Call me crazy, but I still see a head and ears on the right side of the picture above.

I tried zooming in off to the west as well.

The lone cloud peeking out of the trees looked cool.
