  • I ride my bicycle to work whenever Mother Nature cooperates.  In most cases, she allows me to get to and from work without getting too wet.  Any weather scheduled to arrive usually does so while I'm at work.  Such was the case today.

  • Pleasant, although hot conditions were forecast for today with the possibility of a thunderstorm scattered throughout.

  • During this particular moment of pleasantness, I tried once again to see how well the new camera does with clouds.

  • The anticipated bad weather arrived not long after the above photo was taken.  According to the radar, a storm blew up right over Athens and stayed there for a while.  We experienced about 20 minutes of sideways rain and wind.

  • The sideways rain fell for about 20 minutes.  Light rain hung around for an additional hour or so.  Once the rain moved on, the sun came out and lit up the clouds again.
