The typical weather forecast for northern Georgia during this time of year can be summarized by, "Chance of Thunderstorms" for just about every day. On this day, Athens saw multiple thunderstorms. I took the photos above and below in between rounds of rain.

Even though everything is wet where I was standing, sunlight was visible off in the distance.

Sunlight reflecting off of the leaves was clearly visible.

I turned the other direction to try and get a glimpse of the sunset. For some strange reason, I started playing with the color settings on the camera. The results were exactly that - strange.

Not necessarily "good," but strange.

I tried to clean up the color mess I had made.

I guess the yellow tint doesn't look too bad.

After a few minutes, I spotted a rainbow.

It was a faint rainbow, but a rainbow nonetheless.

It didn't take very long for it to fade.

Although faint, the other end of the rainbow was also visible.
