Mother Nature treated me to another wonderful sky after a thunderstorm this evening.

The colors were simply amazing !

The best thing about the view was the blue sky interspersed throughout the partly cloudy areas.

This series of photos seemed to have everything: Scattered clouds, brilliant colors, and blue sky.

I tried to zoom in on the brilliant coloring.

As long as I kept something in the shot like trees, the camera had a spot on which to focus.

Trying to focus on just the clouds was hit or miss.

But the pics turned out ok.

Zooming in on the intense coloring yielded some surprising detail.

Zooming in on the brilliant colors in the distance.

Even zooming in on an individual cloud seemed to work ok.

Zooming in on an individual cloud in the distance.

Looking away from the intense colors revealed more blue sky.

It seemed like the sky overhead was clear in a lot of spots.

The clearing and blue sky mixed in with the clouds was quite a contrast to the brilliant colors in the distance.

This was a wonderful surprise from Mother Nature tonight.
