I've always been a big fan of trees. That's one of the aspects I love about my yard. The giant trees provide a lot of shade.

This same logic applies at work where we have an abundance of trees on our property.

The problem is that most of the trees here are pine trees.

Pine trees grow tall and provide good shade.

Unfortunately, they also like to drop branches a lot.

The problems arise when the branches that break off are not only very large, but also very high off of the ground.

The pine trees on our property had become diseased and were starting to drop branches.

Fleet Manager Bill decided to take preventative action and have all of the pine trees removed.

After the pine trees are removed, they will be replaced with hardwoods.

So it looks like we'll be losing our shade for a while.
