I was performing a maintenance service on a Ford F250 pickup truck and discovered that it also needed front brakes.
One of my responsibilities as a maintenance technician is to inspect the truck for problems of this nature and make any repairs before something like this becomes a problem.
I pulled out the camera and started playing with the "macro" setting once again.
This is about as far as you can go with brakes.
Even though there is still some braking material left, the problem arises with heat. At this point, heat can do a lot of damage and potentially cause the remaining braking material to crumble and break away.
