I was heading into the parking lot and noticed an old spider web hanging on the hose reel next to the fuel island office. I thought it looked pretty cool and grabbed the camera.
Something like this would give me the opportunity to play with the "macro" setting on the camera.
As long as the breeze was calm, I could get a relatively clear picture.
Not too bad all things considered.
Focusing on the actual webs was a little more challenging.
Any kind of movement would cause the picture to be out of focus. And thanks to a light breeze, movement was plentiful.
