  • "AAR" stood for All American Racers, which was the name of Dan Gurney's Trans Am racing series team.  Gurney drove a Plymouth Barracuda in the 1970 season.  Plymouth produced 2,724 commemorative AAR edition 'Cudas during the 1970 model year.  Approximately 385 of those were painted Rallye Red.
