1965 Ford Mustang convertible.

The display sign with the car described the engine as a "289 Hi-Po" which would be the K-Code 289 CID V8 that makes 271 hp. A documented K-Code car is actually a rare item with 7,273 built in 1965.

1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL.

The Mercedes-Benz 300SL "Gullwing" is an automotive icon and one of the world's most collectible cars. This is one of those cars that makes the big auction companies like Barrett-Jackson or Mecum jump for joy when one is consigned because Gullwings typically sell for 7-figures.

The legendary 300 "Sport Leicht" began life in 1954 available only as a Gullwing coupe. Beginning in 1957, the coupe was replaced with a conventional roadster through 1963. A total of 1,400 Gullwing coupes were built before the changeover to roadster production.

Power comes from a fuel injected 3.0L inline 6-cylinder that makes 215 hp,.

This particular car is one of 1,400 Gullwing coupes produced and one of 167 produced in 1954.

The sign displayed with the car details the cowl tag codes. This car was built at the Norfolk, Virginia assembly plant and scheduled for production on February 9, 1950.

1963 Studebaker Avanti.

This is a 240 hp non-supercharged R1 car with a 289 CID V-8 and 4 bbl carburetor. Only 3,834 Avantis were produced in 1963, of which 2,282 were R1 equipped. I managed to get a picture as it was leaving, hence the open driver's door.

The turn signals located below the front bumper and the absence of glass headlight covers identify this car as a Series II which was produced from 1968 - 1971.

1934 Chrysler CA Six.

The CA Six was Chrysler's entry level 6-cylinder car. Of note is the fact that the CA Six and CB Custom Six retained the traditional styling theme even though the rest of the Chrysler lineup had made the switch to the all-new but extremely underappreciated Airflow design.

In this case, the "270" designation refers to the mid-level 270 Series that was situated in between the entry level 170 Series and upper level GT.

Ford Mustang Bullitt edition.

This is the second revival of the Bullitt model made famous by the Steve McQueen film of the same name. The paint color is the same Dark Highland Green made famous by the 1968 movie car.

The Bullitt name has been revived three times since Steve McQueen did his own stunt driving through the streets of San Francisco for the 1968 film. The first revival released in 2001 found 5,582 buyers. Production increased to 6,624 cars for the second revival period of 2008 and 2009. The third revival celebrates the film's 50th anniversary and is currently in production as of this writing.

Even though this second generation F-Series truck is the same color as the 1956 Ford F100 seen earlier, this truck has the flat windshield and angled A-Pillars used from 1953 - 1955. The changeover to a wrap-around windshield and vertical A-Pillars occurred in 1956.

And unlike the 1956 Ford F100 seen earlier with its Hemi engine, this truck is Ford-powered.

Power comes from BMW's 3.5L inline 6-cylinder that makes 208 hp.

BMW purists may frown at the automatic transmission. But that would work for me just fine.
