This is a first-year Thunderbird in "Thunderbird Blue" and white/blue interior. A total of 16,155 were produced that year. Since this car has an automatic transmission, it has the 198 hp version of Ford's 292 CID V8, (manual transmission cars had only 193 hp).In an attempt to remedy this, Oldsmobile created the W32 package for 1969 that included the more aggressive camshaft for automatic transmission equipped cars. Also part of the package was the Outside Air Induction setup with its twin under-bumper scoops seen in the photo above. Essentially, this made the W32 a W30 without the additional internal engine upgrades.
1954 Chevrolet 3100 Series restomod pickup, sold for $47,000.
The 1954 model model year was the first for the large "Bull Nose" grill, and for the curved one-piece windshield without center divider. A modern LS1 V8 now sits under the hood in place of a 235 CID inline 6-cylinder engine that was there when this truck left the factory.1950 Chevrolet Suburban restomod, sold for $28,000.
The Chevrolet Suburban of today can trace its roots back to 1933 when Chevrolet mounted a wooden wagon body onto a light duty truck chassis. This version of the Chevrolet Master could carry up to eight passengers. Two years later, the wooden body was ditched in favor of a more durable steel body. This new "Carryall Suburban" was introduced for 1935. Eighty-three years later, the Suburban is still in production, making it the longest running automotive nameplate in history.
