  • About this time, I got a text from Rob saying that his Judges Meeting was over. I made my way out to the main entrance to the speedway only to not be able to find him anywhere. Rob then sent me another text saying that his meeting was in the Media Center, which is actually in the infield where I was a few minutes earlier.

  • This area of the infield was where the "Dodge Thrill Rides" were being held. Visitors could get a brief drift-style ride in a Dodge Hellcat. My guess is that this was cancelled because of today's rain.

  • I headed back down onto the track where I found Rob whom I have not seen in 7 years ! Since he was done with his Judges Meeting, we had the rest of the day available to catch up and check out whatever the Auto Fair had to offer. We headed into the garage area to check out the Showcase Pavilion and the exhibits contained therein.
