After the smoke screen, it was the nearby tires' turn to mess with the camera focus.
While Sawyer is somewhat blurry, I can read the tiny DOT number on the nearest tire in the photo above, (it was manufactured during the 11th week of 2017).
Actually, I can read just about all of the writing on the sidewalls of the tires.
