May 12, 2008: A beautiful spring day in Columbia, Missouri.

August 4, 2008: My wife's sister and family from Austria were in town for a visit. We drove to nearby Fulton, Missouri and toured the Auto World Museum.

November 9, 2008: The fall colors were beautiful in our neighborhood in Columbia. I really like the way the Carnival Red paint of the Jaguar looks against the multi-colored leaves in the yard.

March 2, 2009: We moved from Columbia, Missouri to Athens, Georgia in January 2009. Naturally, not long after we arrived, Mother Nature picked this day to drop an unusually large amount of snow on the city. A total of 7 inches of snow fell overnight March 1 - 2. But since the ground never really freezes here, most of it melted almost immediately. Being from Pennsylvania originally, I was the only person in the apartment complex who had a snow shovel.

April 5, 2009: The house hunting process began not long after we arrived in Athens. On this day, we were checking out several homes, including this one in the Cedar Creek neighborhood of the city.

April 12, 2009: We took every opportunity we could to explore our new surroundings. On this day, we stumbled upon an old cemetery along Morton Road in Athens. Everyone buried within was named "Morton." And just down the road was an intersection with Morton Farms Road. I'm guessing a family named "Morton" was significant to the history of this particular area.

April 18, 2009: This photo was taken during another house hunting adventure, this time at the home we would eventually purchase.

May 18, 2009: Move in day at our new home.

May 18, 2009: After several months of house hunting, we were finally able to move into our new home in Athens.

May 29, 2009: I'm coming home from somewhere and Vati decided to take a couple of pics of me pulling in the driveway.

May 29, 2009: I can't remember where I was before this picture was taken. But I know that we were headed to the Botanical Gardens shortly afterward.

May 30, 2009: We headed to the J & J Flea Market to check the place out. This is billed as the largest flea market in Georgia.
