Another good shot !

You won't see me in National Geographic anytime soon. But I didn't do too bad, especially for being a few hundred yards away.

I climbed down off of the viewing platform and headed to the beach area.

The Great Egret was in the same spot still staring at something.

Oops ! I think he heard me !

Apparently, he heard me say that and walked away.

I headed south from the viewing platform past the picnic areas to the beach access ramp.

The interesting thing about this beach is that during high tide, there isn't much of a beach. The water level appears to reach all the way to the driftwood.

The photo above looks north toward Brunswick and shows what appears to be another one of those "scattered" storms.

I left the St. Andrews Picnic Area after taking the photo above. St. Andrews sits at the southern end of the island where Riverview Drive becomes Beachview Drive. The South Loop Trail makes a turn to the north and heads back to the Beach Village. That sounded like the perfect opportunity to take a break for lunch.
