Heather was in the midst of purchasing a home during my visit. We stopped by to have a look at the place before it was "officially" hers.
The previous owner had installed a very nice ramp that comes from the driveway. It also leads to the backyard and garage.
The first thing I noticed is how small the lots were in this section of Greeley. Homes in this neighborhood were packed in pretty tight.
Entering through the back door at the top of the ramp seen in the previous photo leads visitors to the kitchen.
Large kitchen.
While the oven was pretty old, the refrigerator was relatively new.
The living room sits beyond the kitchen. The door on the right side of the photo above leads to the screened in porch and front door.
The photos above and below are of the first of two bedrooms on this level.
First bedroom.
The two upper level bedrooms were separated by a nicely updated bathroom.
The photos above and below are of the second of two bedrooms on this level.
Second bedroom.
Unlike where I live in Georgia, homes in this part of the country tend to have a basement. Laundry facilities are housed here. Also of note was the fact that the basement has its own entrance.
Having its own entrance makes the basement ideal for conversion into an apartment. A large living area sat across from the entrance stairs.
The door on the right side of the photo above leads to the basement bedroom.
The basement also features a small bedroom.
Since the basement has its own entrance, living area, and bedroom, the next logical expectation would be to find a bathroom. But none was present.
A basement bathroom would complete the apartment conversion. The most logical place for a bathroom was in the large utility room that sits next to the laundry area.
The utility room is large enough to accommodate a second bathroom should this project ever materialize.

Closing was scheduled for not too long after my visit.
