This looks like a massive project not for the faint of heart.
It looks like its been abandoned for decades.
The original cabin from 1798 is supposed to still be in place among the many additions.
Hopefully, someone will be able to save it.
Eventually, I arrived back in downtown Lexington.
I passed the historic county jail on my way back to the car.
The county jail dates from 1879.
The jail was in use until the mid-2000s.
It looks to have been restored/preserved at some point.
I made my way back toward the courthouse.
