  • Like all good things, this wonderful getaway did have to end.  We headed out to say goodbye to the beach and snap a few more pics of the boardwalk to the beach before heading home.

  • And with that, our time on the island had come to an end.  It was now time to return to Athens and the real world.  <br />

I always enjoy my trips to Jekyll Island.  Each visit continues to remind me why this is my favorite place on earth at the moment.  Danita's first visit to the island was highlighted by the complete lack of people and great weather.  This was a wonderful experience for both of us.  <br />
<br />
We will definitely be back, hopefully with bicycles in tow next time !

    And with that, our time on the island had come to an end. It was now time to return to Athens and the real world.
