My friend, Danita, and I were on our way back from dinner on this evening and couldn't help but notice the moon.

I pulled over near the Oconee County High School complex to snap a few pics.

My camera doesn't do too well in low-light. But I gave it a shot anyway.

The moon looked pretty full on this night.

I did some research and discovered that the full moon was scheduled for around 8 AM on August 26, or tomorrow morning.

The full moon for the month of August is called the "Sturgeon Moon."

Even though the moon wasn't scheduled to be "full" for another 12 hours, it looked quite full to the casual observer like myself.

I also liked the color of tonight's moon.
