I took the XJS out for a cruise in the Lake Oconee area near Madison, Georgia. US Route 278 crosses over the lake in two spots, one of which has a small area to park and take a few pics.

I saw several people out on the water today.

I saw something in the water and tried to zoom in. It looks like a piece of wood.

There are a couple of docks visible nearby. This side of the lake shore is residential, (the Northwoods neighborhood of Greensboro, GA).

I took the previous three pics and stitched them together to create a panorama of the lake.

After a day of cruising, I was heading back to Athens via US Route 78 West. Heading directly into the sunset, I propped the camera on top of the windshield and held the button down hoping a few of the 30-or-so pics taken in burst mode would be usable.
