One of the services provided by Athens-Clarke County is a Leaf and Limb collection of branches and yard debris. Collection rotates through the county's various neighborhoods so that residents see a collection once every six weeks. With collection in Danita's neighborhood scheduled for the following week, I started the familiar pile of debris.

Danita lives in a neighborhood with a lot of mature trees that drop branches from time to time.

When Leaf and Limb Collection rolls around, there is always enough debris to create a large pile.

I gathered as much as I could and piled everything at the curb.

The best thing about this adventure was the BBQ lunch that followed !
