I took advantage of this beautiful day to take another cruise to nowhere in the XJS, once again toward Lake Oconee. For this trip, I followed Georgia Route 44 from Greensboro, a road I hadn't been on before. A small pullout just before Rt 44 crosses over Lake Oconee looked like a good place to stop and take a few pics.

The photos above and below look south out over Lake Oconee from GA Route 44.

This area is quite developed. Lakefront living is available all over the place in this region.

Although available, I would imagine that any lakefront property would be quite expensive.
