The yard is turning greener by the day which makes everything look great. We've had a good bit of rain this spring which makes my plants happy.

Today's project was to gather as many of the small grenades as possible from the Sweet Gum tree in the front yard. I've found that the easiest way to do this is to set the lawn mower as low as possible, which can be a challenge given the number of exposed tree roots, and gather them up in the mower bag. It may sound like gunshots, but it gets the job done.

The flowering Dogwood tree in the front yard looks great !

I'm not 100% sure. But I think this may be a Dogwood Cherokee Brave, which goes well with the Dogwood Cherokee Princess I planted in 2014. The flowers are identical except for the color, (pink vs white).
