Some of the Tulip buds seen a few days ago have transitioned into flowers.

Seeing a few simple flowers doesn't sound like much. But it's quite exciting when you've been hoping they will appear.
The Ruby Loropetalums are doing very well.
The Ruby Loropetalums look great this year after not doing much last spring. Idiot me gave them a trim too late into the previous fall, thus removing all of the new growth. Last fall, I behaved myself, and this is the result.
The blue-flowering Creeping Phlox is actually doing much better than expected.
Buds begin to appear on the Sweet Gum Tree toward the end of March. From there, the tree explodes very quickly.
The Azaleas begin to wake up toward the end of March. Once the blooming cycle begins, the changes, even from one day to the next, are quite apparent.
The red half of the red/white combo always blooms first, followed quickly by the white half.
I've got some shaping to do later on. But everything seems to be preparing to bloom.
The Korean Azalea I planted last year dropped most of its leaves over the winter which made me wonder if it wasn't going to survive. But all appears to be well.
