  • The daffodils have finished blooming for the season.  Blooms began opening at the beginning of February and lasted through the middle of March.

  • It looks like I'll have to prune some of the wild branches on the Reeves Spireas.

  • I'm still gathering ideas for what to do with the corner seen in the photo above.  But no matter what I decide, I'm going to need some room.  Today, I took some time to relocate more daffodils inboard from the corner where I clustered them years ago.  I'll also eventually transplant all of the Monkey Grass that is present as well.

  • Since I'm also thinking about doing something next to the front steps, I also moved the planters that were there onto the front porch, where they were when I moved into this house in 2009.

  • Part of today's spring cleaning involved pruning the tree at the corner of the house.  It was here long before me and has a tendency to grow a little wild.  I tried to get it under control today.
