The Japanese Maple tree continues its changeover to green, albeit very slowly.

The contrast with the green Small Anise tree behind it is great.

So far, so good for the Mood Ring Podocarpus.

And so far, so good for the Red Fountain grass.

All three Red Fountain grass plants seem like they're happy.

I've still got a few flowers on the Reeves Spireas.

I need to trim some of the "wild" back after they finish blooming.

All of the Blue Dart Rush grass plants seem to be doing well. It seems to have spread substantially since I planted it back in 2014. The individual plants seemed to have grown together, which is great.

The gifted bearded iris is blooming.

I said earlier this year that I think I finally found the right spot for the Otto Luyken Cherry Laurel.

Not only has it grown in size, it actually produced a small flower this year.

I've got iris blooms in the individual groups throughout the yard.

I see a pair of Iris flowers in the group by the maple tree.

The Goldmound Spireas look great.

I don't know what to do here. I was hoping the rose bushes would be happier in a sunnier area of the yard. But it doesn't look that way. I think they may be too far gone. The dogwood tree that got broken off by the local deer population is showing some green leaves, but looks sad otherwise. And the relocated Japanese Maple tree just out of view on the top right of the photo above suffered the same fate last year, and is only showing a couple of leaves.

I've got more Yellow Flag Iris blooms.
