I was headed to work on this beautiful afternoon and decided to snap a few pics. The Chinese Snowball is still in full bloom and looks wonderful !

Some heavy rain bent a few of the branches over in the last series of pics. I was happy to see it make a great recovery.

I noticed while I was finishing the mulch project ten days ago that a couple of irises on that side of the yard decided to bloom early. Today, they were joined by a few more.

I also started to see some blooms in the other iris areas as well.

This is a good sign. Once a few blooms appear, more will (hopefully) follow.

I also noticed that the gifted bearded iris looked like it was ready to bloom. I don't know these flowers look like. So this will be something new.
