The rest of this year will be spent mulching all of the leaves that will be falling over the next couple of months. This is a good time to check out the results of this year's Yard Adventure.

  • The digging, dividing, and replanting of the center section of irises took place last month. This area is now much smaller, which will give everything around it more room.

  • I did some weeding and spread some mulch a few weeks ago to make the area look nice. Everything I replanted is growing, which is a good sign.

  • The pink frost on the left side of the photo above has grown much taller than the one on the right. I think this has to do with the different amount of shade for each location.

  • The three Japanese Boxwood bushes I planted in 2012 have done very well with very little input from me, which is just the way I like it.

  • The leaning tower of pine tree broke off during a storm recently. I gathered everything up and plan to put everything out front for the next several Leaf & Limb collections.
