  • The arrival of fall means the end of the yardwork season isn't too far away.  Even though the temperatures can still be quite warm into October, most of the plants in my yard that produce some type of bloom have already done so by this time.  With no projects on the horizon other than normal maintenance, the 2018 edition of my annual Yard Adventure has officially come to a close.

  • I planted the Pink Muhly Grass in April 2015 and have been delighted each fall by their wonderful red blooms ever since.

  • I cut them back at the beginning of this season which made me wonder if I was going to see blooms this year.  But they came through and looked great !
