This "Mystery Bulb" now has a possible name - Gladiolus.
I believe this is some kind of Gladiolus bulb.
Whatever it is, it's blooming and beautiful !
One of the gardenias in the front yard is blooming. This plant has bloomed quite well ever since I began hacking it back each year.
The Vitex Shoal Creek.
Looking great while in bloom.
As someone who doesn't do bees very well, I was quite nervous getting this shot. But it was worth it !
The Vitex Shoal Creek is growing very quickly and blooming beautifully each year.
The Coronation Gold Yarrows are also still blooming. For whatever reason, the physical size of the each plant has shrunk this season. But they still bloom.
I did some hacking and trimming around the Yoshino Cherry tree in the backyard to open the space up a bit. The "neat and tidy" look works well here.
The other gardenias in the backyard are blooming as well. The same thing is true here as is with the gardenias out front. They seem to bloom better after being pruned each year.
