With Leaf & Limb Collection scheduled for my neighborhood next week, I took the opportunity to address a couple of issues with the flowering dogwood tree in the front yard. I grabbed the reciprocating saw and got to work.
I wanted to address several issues. The first of which was with two branches. One was dead, and the other was almost horizontal.
I decided I no longer want to get clotheslined while cutting the grass, and hacked both branches off.
The other issue involved trimming the small branches at the base of the tree.
The reciprocating saw and a pruning blade made quick work of everything.
After cutting everything up, as well as gathering all of the other limbs from around the yard, I had my pile ready for collection.
This is one of the bigger Leaf & Limb piles I have assembled.
