I headed into the yard on this beautiful day to do nothing more than take a few pictures. The Japanese camellia is still blooming, and has been since February.
This is good to see ! The Eleanor Tabor Indian hawthorn that was new last year is blooming.
Blooms on the Eleanor Tabor Indian hawthorn.
The rose bush continues to do well.
I see another (blurry) bloom on deck.
The new pear tree looks good.
The two bushes seen in the photo above, which I believe are some variety of holly, were here long before I arrived. They continue to do their thing without any input from me.
Both are sporting some new growth for the season.
Sweetgum tree.
The maple tree is beginning to look like a tree for the season.
The flowering dogwood tree is transitioning to green.
Everything at the mailbox looks great.
The pink half of the first azalea cluster is beginning to fade. But the white half still looks great.
The last-to-bloom second azalea still looks great !
Second azalea.
The third azalea has started to fade and drop its petals.
Fourth azalea.
Fifth azalea.
All of the azaleas did very well this year.
After being completely white two week ago, the cherry tree is now completely green.
So far, so good for all of the new palm trees in the backyard.
