On the agenda for today was to continue with the "Spring Cleaning" in the yard.
I broke out the mower and cleaned up the debris in the side yard.
And as long as I've got the camera out, I might as well take a few panorama shots, because that's what I do as of late.
Three-picture side yard panorama.
I found this growing in the side yard during the cleanup process.
It looks like it's been there for a while. I have a feeling that if I could get this to grow, I'd be the envy of the neighborhood.
Let's try another side yard panorama from a more perpendicular angle.
Panning the camera right.
Three-picture side yard panorama turned out quite well.
I tried to add a fourth picture. But the angle was off, and it wouldn't match with the third picture.
The privacy hedges in between the houses are starting to wake up for the season. They look sparse now, but will fill in nicely as the weeks progress.
There isn't much happening at the Sweetgum tree yet.
Ditto the cherry tree.
The camellia is not only green, but beginning to bloom.
I grew up in central Pennsylvania. So seeing a flowering plant bloom in February is completely foreign to me.
But it happens here, and looks very nice.
The random daffodils are also blooming.
I should think about gathering all of them up and planting them together somewhere.
In addition to the random daffodils, there are several other random blooming flowers in the backyard.
I don't know what they are. But there are several in completely random locations.
Random backyard flowers.
And I also have several of these blooming flowers in the backyard.
The side yard looks good after mowing.
Since it worked in the backyard last year, I hopped up on the brick wall at the back of the driveway to see what kind of shot I could capture.
